The Fitness Clinic for Individuals with Disabilities is a community outreach program through the School of Exercise and Nutritional Sciences at San Diego State University. The Fitness Clinic serves those from the San Diego region with a wide variety of physical disabilities and offers them the opportunity to reach their fitness and exercise goals. A place is provided which allows clients to develop management skills for their disabilities.

Scripps driving assessment program is designed for people who want to determine their capacity to safely drive a motor vehicle after having a stroke or brain injury, or whose driving skills have diminished due to age.  This program is especially valuable for people who have experienced or are currently managing stroke, brain injury, MS, Parkinson’s, SPI, age-related visual defects, or other neuro-muscular conditions.

San Diego Adaptive Sports Foundation's mission is to improve the quality of life for children and adults with physical disabilities through sports and recreation.  SDASF works to coordinate and foster a program of adaptive sports for individuals with a permanent physical disability that prevents them from participating in regular sports and athletics by providing competitive league sports, recreational team sports, instructional camps, and sports clinics, and offers other adaptive sports based on need and interest.
