MPS has been manufacturing quality mechanical hand controls since 1964
Monarch Mark IA combines the most popular method of maneuvering the hand controls with the least fatiguing. The brakes are applied using a forward motion, towards the dash. Acceleration is accomplished with a down ward motion towards the users lap with a right angle to the brake. The flat handle is out of the way and can easily be locked when not in use by other drivers.
These hand controls feature an advanced and streamline design. Simply push the handle forward to brake and pull the handle back to accelerate. As an added safety feature you can use the accelerator lock out when switching drivers.
These hand controls are operated with an up and down motion and can use vertical or standard handles. If you need to brake you push down. To accelerate you simply pull it up. MPS hand controls come with a 5 year warranty and will be tailored to your driving needs.
The Veigel eConnect hand control is designed for more legroom, and a clean, modern look. It’s available in multiple styles—Push-Pull, Push Right-Angle, or Push Rock. Th eConnect uses electronic acceleration, which makes it smoother, easier to operate, and more responsive. It is available with several handle options.
Featherlite controls are column mounted controls that utilize the OEM vehicle electronic signal to operate the throttle. This eliminates any mechanical linkage between the driving aid and vehicle’s gas pedal. This in turn increases the driver’s leg and lap room and decreases the need for dash modifications- options are Push-Pull, Push Right-Angle, or Push Rock
The Electronic Left Foot Accelerator allows a driver to operate an accelerator pedal on the left of the brake pedal with their left foot. The design mimics the original pedal for ease of use, comfort and retains full range of acceleration. A push button switch turns the system on and transfers function to the left accelerator pedal while making the (right) OEM pedal is non- operational
Left Foot Accelerator brings the feel of driving with the original pedal to the left side. The pedal assembly utilizes a sleek universal floor mounted pedal, giving the full system a professional and factory look. With a push of the button the left foot accelerator is activated and the OEM pedal is deactivated.
Pedal guards are an important safety adaptation installed in front of the foot pedals to help prevent accidental pedal activation. They’re often used alongside hand controls to support a safer driving experience, and can be especially helpful for drivers with involuntary leg movements who may be at higher risk of unintentionally pressing the pedals.
help drivers who can’t comfortably reach the pedals. They attach to the factory pedals and bring them 2–8 inches closer to the driver’s seat for a safer, more comfortable driving position. They use a quick-release system, so they can be removed in seconds without tools so other drivers can operate the vehicle.
A variety of steering device styles are available to make turning the wheel easier, smoother, and more comfortable. Collebuilt Systems offers steering and braking modifications that help drivers who may not have the strength or range of motion to turn the wheel or fully press the brake operate their vehicle safely.
High-tech driving controls are advanced adaptive systems that let a driver control steering, braking, and acceleration electronically—often with very little strength or range of motion required. Instead of relying on traditional mechanical linkages, these systems translate the driver’s input into electronic commands that operate the vehicle’s factory controls.
In addition to the primary controls there are high tech options like customized touch screen panels and custom buttons that allow the operation of numerous other functions and features the vehicle has that the driver may need and cannot normally access.
These High Tech controls are recommended by a driver rehabilitation specialist and are installed by specially trained technicians.
